  • Franklin Road is amazing! The preaching is solid and Biblical. Everything is done to a high quality. We just had VBS, and the attention to detail was amazing. My kids were so excited to attend every day. The program was well-run, even down to checking the kids in and out with an iPad-based system. There are so many ministries and activities for every age group. We hate to miss out when we get sick and can't come.

  • My son is in his first year of school at FRCS and absolutely loves it! The teachers and staff are very welcoming. Also, the education that he's receiving is far better than the best public schools in the area. These people that write bad reviews online have obviously never attended a service or visited the school. I am not a member of the church, but I have visited many times and attended several church functions. Pastor Norris is a world-class pastor that many families and children could use the influence of.

  • I'd rate it 5 stars, but I got attacked by a service dog

Attended both Sunday services for 8 months and people STILL think I am a guest, it is so frustrating to remind the ladies Sunday School assistant every few weeks that I don't want to fill out another visitor's card. There is no room for post-college singles at this family-oriented place, I almost feel like I'm viewed as less of a Christian and there is little to none opportunity to create a community relationship. Pastor seems disinterested and unrelatable to the younger generation which will be the lifeblood after he gets to retirement age. Curious how this church will continue in the next 20 years.

We have been atading frbc for the past 7 years and over all have had a positive experience. As with any church it has it small issues and hang ups but nothing we could not look past. A church is a place you expect support and love. Franklin road is this church with some exceptions. Michael Norris is a loving man as long as you fit his mold. He prides him self in his unwillingness to change or adapt. So we got along very well until one day I did not fit his mold. I had a trauma when I was in my mid teens that caused PTSD. As part of my treatment I have trained a PSD. Kuma my service dog is well trained and follows all public access laws. Most welcomed her and with open arms but a select few did not. Over time I could tell we where less and less welcome until one day I could see Mike making angry faces at me from the pulpit. I was unsure if this was the case so I decide confront him. When I approached him all he could say that was that half the church was unhappy with the fact that a service dog was present. I tried to explain the reasoning and needfulness for the dog but all he said was that he was actively looking for a way to prevent her but had not yet found one. My eyes filled with tears and shock ran down my body. How could this be? As he saw I was upset he asked me to Leave . Reneé and cryed the entire way home. We felt as if we lost a family member. Weeks went by and no contact came from Mike. The only thing I can figure out is that it did not seem like a big deal to him. What I can say is as long as you fit in the mold franklin road baptism church is great.
