  Unless you plan on worshiping "Apostle Mike" the so-called minister, this is NOT the place for you! He will require you to memorize and chant the vision statement of the "church" at the beginning of the service which lifts himself to a higher position than Jesus! He also will periodically yell at the congregation to all say "I love you, pastor Mike" to further uplift and glorify himself.
  He misquotes the Bible and demands every member to tithe 10% TO THE CHURCH and not a different Christian organization. The Bible clearly states in the Old Testament that 10% of everything we own is Holy to God and we should treat it as such and use it to build God's community. "Apostle Mike" stated that each member had to donate a minimum of $25 TO THE CHURCH in order to cure poverty, war, and diseases. He made the congregation a deal - ultimately $25 weekly to his church (if you can call it that) for 7 days of blessings. He then went on to brag about how he and his "first lady" donate $500 a month to their tv broadcast which he was concerned will not be back on air due to low funding. He told the members they had two options: they can donate $100 or $200/month for this program that he really believes in. It's good to believe in a cause, but you can't demand money from people like that. He was making everything about THE PEOPLE providing, not GOD providing. He also made the church well aware that he tithes 55%/month and he does not get paid by the church. I guess that means extra blessings for him... Long story short, this is not a place for Christians to gather. It idolizes the leader, and is focused on worldly money rather than our treasures in Heaven. Please pray for the members and staff of Abundant Life.

  to truth. It let me know God loves me not based on performance. It also let me know to quit being lazy and to do my part because God will always do and has done His! THANK GOD FOR TRUTH AND HIS SERVANT BROTHER MIKE WHITSEY.
